MelPAX is a skin-safe, adhesive-waterbased makeup — the industry standard for painting foam latex prosthetics and covering tattoos. Once dry, it is water-resistant, sweat-proof, smudge-proof, and smear-proof.

How to apply MelPAX

MelPAX can be applied by sponge, brush, or airbrush. For airbrushing, MelPAX must be thinned with MelPAX Airbrush Thinner at a 1:1 ratio.

Will MelPAX clog my airbrush?

Not at all — as long as you clean after each colour using MelPAX Airbrush Cleaner.

Thinner vs. Airbrush Thinner

MelPAX Thinner is for creating washes and glazes (watercolor effect). MelPAX Airbrush Thinner is strictly for thinning MelPAX for the airbrush. These two cannot be interchanged.

How to remove MelPAX

Use MelPAX Remover for best results. Coconut oil also works in a pinch.
